I was just reading up on all the new things going on in the spa world on spainews, and there’s a really interesting, new concept that they just started at the Hyatt Regency in Mission Bay, Ca. They now have skin concierges who go around to all of their guests laying out by the pool and offer them free applications of sunscreen.
“While the free service is relaxing and enjoyable, the concierges are also helping to battle a more serious concern: skin cancer, the most common – yet preventable – form of cancer in the United States, affecting over 3.5 million people annually.”
Too many times, people go on vacation and forget to pack sun protection. I think it’s ingenious!
